LETTER OF MOTIVATION / STATEMENT OF PURPOSE BACKGROUND Please find enclosed my application for a study permit. My father is a graduate degree in Engineering from Woolich, London. He is also an Alumni of Munchen, West Germany where he understood an advanced course in Electrical/Electronic. My mother has a bachelor degree in Business Administration. They both reside in Nigeria, my father is a business man and also a traditional ruler (King). While my mother also run her chain of businesses and takes care of the home considering my father s responsibilities. I am the 4th child out of 5 children from my mother , my younger sister is the only dependant in the family. My parents believe that education is the bed rock for a successful and meaningful life hence the burning desire to achieve quality and timely knowledge via education. PURPOSE OF STUDY I obtained my secondary school education and WASSCE/WAEC certification at Mayflower School, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State where I was the best technical drawing mathematics student. I was made the Technical Drawing Laboratory Officer and also belonged to the Junior Engineering Technician Students (JETS Club). I represented my school in different competitions and won awards. Thereafter, I gained admission into University of Lagos to study Architecture and I graduated with Second Class upper division.
